“We all want to help one another. Human beings are like that. We want to live by each other’s happiness – not by each other’s misery. We don’t want to hate and despise one another. In this world there is room for everyone. And the good earth is rich and can provide for everyone. The way of life can be free and beautiful, but we have lost the way.”
These past few days (weeks) have been pretty rough. I think that actually might be the understatement of the year, but nonetheless… The world is not a safe place, and my heart hurts for what life has become for so many.
For those of you that have been affected by any of the violence that has happened in the past year, my prayers are with you. I want to remind you that life can and will get better. I want to remind you of the little joys that can be easily overlooked on a rough day (or week, or year). These are fifteen of my favorite feelings, the ones that get my through a dark time…I encourage you to identify yours during the next few days and to call on them when you feel like giving up.
